Day 1 Travel to Waterford for an over night stay. Embrace the warm welcome of the Emerald Isle - its ancient heritage, legends and lore are yours to explore as we prepare to travel the length and breadth of this island and its tale of two nations.
Day 2 A leisurely start before we head to pretty Cashel, a small town in the south of Ireland, famous for its medieval buildings. See the spectacular Rock of Cashel, or St. Patrick's Rock, the traditional seat of the High Kings of Munster. Those looking to keep up with local Irish banter will enjoy a visit to Blarney Castle. Legend has it that kissing the Blarney Stone, a block of limestone built into the castle, gives you the gift of the gab. This evening we arrive in Killarney for a three night stay.
Day 3 Morning at leisure in Killarney. This afternoon take in the fresh, sea air as you visit Dingle and drive along the Dingle Peninsula to Slea Head for glorious scenic views of hills and coastline.
Day 4 A late morning start as we embark on today's journey through the beautiful Killarney National park, where sweeping mountains, lush lake lands and valleys await as you drive along the iconic Ring of Kerry. Return to Killarney and why not end your day with a pint at one of Killarney's most popular pubs and enjoy the local musicians later in the evening.
Day 5 Our encounter with the rugged beauty of Ireland continues. Crossing the Shannon River, travelling through beautiful County Clare to admire the breath-taking views of the 700-foot Cliffs of Moher above the Atlantic Ocean. Later we arrive at the Lough Rea Hotel and Spa for a one night stay.
Day 6 A morning visit to Galway, a harbour city that prides itself on its bustling streets and pubs, boutiques and quirky art galleries. This afternoon skirt the edge of Connemara, set against rugged mountains and tranquil loughs, provide a soul-stirring backdrop for your scenic drive as we make our way to Donegal for a two night stay.
Day 7 Explore the town of Donegal located at the mouth of the River Eske and Donegal Bay. There will be the opportunity to enjoy a boat trip around Donegal Bay, this trip takes in wonderful views of the bay, the town, the Bluestack Mountains and the amazing seal island with over 200 seals.
Day 8 See Northern Ireland's most spectacular geological wonders at the Giant's Causeway. Tread in the footsteps of Finn MacCool - his geometric Giant's Causeway is more the stuff of legends than the result of ancient volcanic activity which left its mark on the Northern Irish coast. Admire the 40,000 interlocking basalt columns that fade into the sea. Later drive along the Nine Glens of Antrim for views of mountains, valleys, and coastline on the spectacular Antrim Coast road. This evening arrive in Belfast for a two night stay.
Day 9 With your local expert enjoy a panoramic tour of Belfast, hear the history of the city and learn the city's progress and current prosperity. You'll also see the City Hall, Queen's University, Parliament Building at Stormont and murals in different locations indicating political sentiments of local residents. Later we include a visit to the Titanic Belfast Museum - the museum and monument are located on the site where the RMS Titanic was built from 1909-1912.
Day 10 Dublin beckons today as we journey south for some time at leisure in this vibrant city. The charismatic capital city of Dublin is one of our last stops on this epic journey. This afternoon we continue south past the Wicklow Mountains to Waterford for our final night.
Day 11 Our memorable journey through Ireland is at its end. All that's left to say is slán abhaile to newfound friends as we join the ferry and prepare to travel home
