Your Itinerary

Day 1 – Heading to the North East

Our journey begins with a comfortable departure from the local area as we travel north east through scenic countryside, with convenient comfort stops along the way. We arrive at the grand Gosforth Park Hotel, our base for the next three nights, where there is time to settle in, unwind and look forward to the scenic and memorable days ahead, before enjoying a delicious evening meal.

Day 2 – Holy Island & the Northumberland Coast

After breakfast, we explore the historic market town of Alnwick, famed for its magnificent castle and charming streets. We continue along the spectacular Northumberland coast, taking in dramatic seascapes and quaint villages before reaching the sacred isle of Lindisfarne (Holy Island), steeped in history and legend. Later, we visit the picturesque fishing town of Amble, a delightful spot to relax and enjoy the harbour views. Return to our hotel for dinner and a relaxing evening.

Day 3 – Beamish Museum & Kynren

Today’s journey takes us back in time at Beamish Museum, the world-famous open-air museum that brings the North East’s industrial and social history vividly to life. Explore recreated streets, historic transport and traditional trades for a truly immersive experience. In the evening, we experience the spectacular Kynren: An Epic Tale of England, a breathtaking outdoor show featuring hundreds of performers, horses, and pyrotechnics — a truly unforgettable highlight of our trip.

Day 4 – A Leisurely Farewell

After a leisurely breakfast, we bid farewell to the North East and begin our journey home, reflecting on a trip filled with history, culture, and unforgettable memories. Comfort stops are made en route, allowing a relaxed conclusion to our Northumbria adventure.
