Day 1 – Journey North & Settle In
We depart our local area and begin our scenic journey north, with comfort stops en route. By late afternoon, we arrive at our welcoming overnight hotel near Leeds/York, perfectly placed for a restful evening.
Dinner is included tonight, giving you the chance to unwind and get to know your fellow travellers.
Day 2 – Discover York & Cruise to Holland
After a hearty breakfast (included), we travel to the beautiful historic city of York, famed for its charming medieval streets, magnificent Minster, and quaint shops. Enjoy some free time to explore at your leisure.
Mid-afternoon, we continue to Hull for check-in and boarding of our comfortable overnight P&O cruise ferry to Holland. Settle into your en-suite cabin, then take time to enjoy the onboard amenities, including lounges, restaurants, shops, and entertainment.
Day 3 – Keukenhof Gardens & Delft Pottery
We arrive in Holland early morning and set off on a scenic drive to the world-famous Keukenhof Gardens. Spread over 70 acres, this breathtaking park bursts with millions of tulips, daffodils, and other spring blooms.
Wide, flat pathways, plentiful seating, and on-site cafés make this a gentle and enjoyable visit for all.
Later, we travel to the charming city of Delft to visit the renowned Royal Delft Pottery, where you'll enjoy a guided tour and see firsthand the artistry behind their iconic blue porcelain. There’s time to browse and purchase a memento before we return to Rotterdam for our overnight sailing back to the UK. Relax once more aboard the P&O ferry and enjoy the facilities at your leisure.
Day 4 – Return to the South West
After disembarking early morning, we rejoin our coach and begin our journey home. With comfort breaks along the way, we aim to arrive back in the South West later in the afternoon — returning with wonderful memories of this vibrant spring escape to Holland.
