Day 1: Travel to London & the Tower of London by Night
We depart the local area and journey to London, with a comfort stop en route. On arrival, we check into the spectacular Sunborn Yacht Hotel – a luxury floating hotel moored at Royal Victoria Dock. Settle in and enjoy time to relax before a truly unforgettable evening begins.
As night falls, we make our way to one of the city’s most historic and iconic landmarks – the Tower of London. After the crowds have gone and the gates are locked, you’ll experience the fortress in an entirely different light. In the stillness of the evening, join a select few for the Ceremony of the Keys – a tradition that has taken place every single night for over 700 years.
Led by the Yeoman Warders (Beefeaters), this ancient ritual marks the formal locking of the Tower for the night. As the keys are presented and the words “God preserve King Charles” echo through the grounds, you'll feel the weight of history all around you. It's an exclusive and deeply atmospheric experience, rich in tradition and unlike anything else in London.
After the ceremony, we return to the comfort of the Sunborn Yacht to relax for the night.
Day 2: London Sights & Windsor – Return Home
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast aboard the yacht before we take a scenic drive through central London, passing some of its most iconic landmarks.
We then continue to Windsor, where you’ll have free time to explore the historic royal town at your leisure – perhaps visit Windsor Castle, stroll the quaint streets, or enjoy a riverside lunch.
We return home in the late afternoon with lasting memories of this truly special London break.
